Monopoly Deal Card Game VS 2 Computers Mode

In my last update of the Monopoly Deal Mini Card Game (Minipoly Deal), i have added a new mode: VS 2 Computers.

Undoubtedly, the original Monopoly Deal Card Game is meant for 2-5 players. So, basically, the more merrier, as it adds more variations into the game play. For example, there are some Action cards designed to request money from all the other opponents (eg: Birthday card, dual-color Rent cards). It is more effective to use those cards when playing with multiple players.

However, as mentioned last time, it is challenging to accommodate too much players within the small mobile devices. Here, i only added 2 computer bots in the latest Minipoly Deal, which i think it can be considered multi-player mode to some extent.

From the picture shown, the P2 and P3 are the computers. The game play is still the same as the VS 1 computer mode. One thing to note is that, the attack-single-player Action cards, such as Debt Collector, Sly Deal, Deal Breaker, Rainbow Rent Card are ONLY VALID if they are dragged on the computers region.

Overall, the game play is slightly tougher compared to the VS 1 computer mode. The thing is, the computers are NOT conspiring to attack the player. They follow some trends when using the Action Cards. :)

2: Take the rod and break open the plug board. 2nd plug board frm right.

3: Take the paper cutter and cut the wires.

4: Now connect the wires wrogly. i.e. click on the tip of the lower red wire and drag it to upper green wire. similarly click on the tip of lower blue wire and drag it to upper red wire and click on lower green wire and drag it to upper blue wire.

5: Now turn on the switches on the extrem left wall.

6: Once the switches are ON, go back to the plug board, u can see fire.

7: Now take a paper from the paper tray on the table and lite the fire. Once the paper is on fire, put it below the panel next to the door. Like that lite 3 or 4 papers and put it below the panel.

8: once tht is done, click on the handle of the door, the door will open.

Far Cry 3 is a beautiful looking game but turning up to ULTRA DX11 settings killed my performance on my somewhat decent computer which at its core is a I7 2600k clocked at 4.5ghz and a GTX 480. Sure its not top of the line but a capable system that eats up most games at their highest settings. So I waded through the options available and found that shadows were the biggest culprit. So there are two tweaks that I changed that would otherwise be a low 30 fps experience at ultra and increased my framerate to a consistent 50 fps which is much more playable at 1920x1200 resolution.

Turn off SSAO
Set shadows to HIGH

SSAO is usually a very nice looking graphical setting if implemented correctly but it looks downright ugly in Far Cry 3 because it sort of surrounds every object and human with an unnatural dark glow. To turn SSAO off go into your documents folder and open GamerProfile.xml in notepad which is usually located in your C:Usersprofilenamemy documentsmy gamesfar cry 3gamerprofile.xml and the variable you want to change is.

SSAOLevel="0"

By default its set 1 but to turn it off you want to change it to 0. If the setting by chance doesnt save, you might have to set the file to read only after you change it.

The next tweak is to change shadow quality to High. There is a big performance drop when you put shadows on Very High and Ultra. Almost taking a 10+ fps dip going from high to very high. You sort of miss out on some soft shadows and whatnot but I personally prefer a higher framerate. So with these tweaks the frame rate is better while you can keep every other graphical setting at their Ultra default and it becomes a much more playable experience.
